Created as an alternative to Satire Search designed with writers and webmasters in mind rather than just the readers. Humor Feed made room for sites that Satire Search wouldn't include for one reason or another.
Humor Feed members felt the constant inclusion by Satire Search of mediocre headlines allowed the genre to develop a blase reputation. Further, many new members to Satire Search were amateur and lukewarm whereas Humor Feed sought to be more exclusive of membership in order to insure quality and limits sites to one headline per day in order to better seek out the truly best stories available.
